Trad is proud to present AnnaSophia Robb .
Since March 2005, Trad has been the personal wardrobe designer for AnnaSophia Robb, who starred as Violet Beauregard in “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” with Johnny Depp. The partnership came about after AnnaSophia showed an interest in our line, and after interviewing several potential designers, she decided to go with Tracy Perez, of Trad.
Since then, Tracy Perez, of Trad, and AnnaSophia, have been collaborating on various aspects of the Trad brand, including her premiere dresses for both the Los Angeles and London premieres of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. ” Seeing that she has two loves, both acting and designing, we felt that it couldn’t have been a more perfect or timely match, also, our visions of designing children’s clothing are quite similar. The more time that we spend together, the more in tune we realize we are with one another. We have fun on a personal level, meaning that the business of fashion design is a fun experience for everyone involved with Trad. We get the work done, however, we enjoy ourselves in the process. We will be signing a licensing agreement, effective Fall 2006 between AnnaSophia Robb and Trad.
Our Trad Fall 2006 photo shoot had to be done in New Zealand where AnnaSophia is busy filming her upcoming movie “The Bridge to Terabithia.” Things are already in the works for a collaboration between AnnaSophia and Trad in regards to the design concept of our Spring 2007 collection. Going ahead, we greatly anticipate creative input from AnnaSophia on our other line, Porky Pies, as well. To quote AnnaSophia Robb, “I have finally found a line of clothing that is for my age and is fashionable, funky, fun and hip.” We look forward to what the future holds in store for the exciting partnership between AnnaSophia Robb and Trad.
